Read MoreEight days into December and I’m still not feeling much of “the Christmas spirit.” Per usual, for me, really.
Read MoreWhat’s up, my friends. It’s already December 7th? No way. I refuse to accept that the month is already a week over. It feels like Halloween was only a week ago. Anyone else feel me?
Read MoreGood evening, friends. Welcome to Blogmas Day 6! Greetings to you from all the way up in Northern Michigan.
Read MoreBlogmas Day 5 - welcome! This is becoming a late-night ritual of mine that I highly enjoy. Sitting and decompressing with you all. Thank you, again, for reading and coming along on my Christmas journey with me. December is usually a pretty tough month for me. Definitely, by no means, my happiest month of the year, even with my birthday in it. But, thanks in large part to these little diary entries, I’m enjoying it a lot more than I ever have.
Read MoreIt’s already December 4th - my brain can’t process that fully. In addition to it being Blogmas Day 4, it’s also my Momma’s birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM). It was also dentist appointment day. Yay. 😒 So, both of those things meant that a 2.5-hour drive was in order. My dentist and my Mom are both on the other side of the state from me, so Ethan and I often find ourselves driving to and from at all hours of the day. It can be exhausting and daunting, but I don’t plan to replace either of them anytime soon, so I better get used to it, I guess.

Read MoreOne of mine and Ethan’s favorite things in this world to do is to travel to exciting and beautiful places near and far. We have made it our unofficial mission to cross as many places off of our to-visit lists as possible before our time ends - one of the many reasons we are such a great match.
Read More*Sigh* I owe you lovely readers an apology for being MIA for so long. It’s been a combination of many things - primarily a lack of time, motivation, and creative energy. But, with that said, I’m carving out more time in my schedule now to sit down and write for me, and for you, too! So, here’s to new beginnings and starting fresh! Thanks for your support and patience - hopefully this will be the last apology I make for a while. If I have it my way, I’m back for good, and I usually get my way. 😉
Let’s throw it back to a few weeks ago and catch up on some of the things you’ve missed, shall we?
Read MoreEthan and I are both the all-or-nothing type. So, just over a week ago when I said that I thought our living space could use a plant or two, we both took that as an excuse to start a full-on garden. No, seriously. 🙃 We are now the proud Plant Parents to 15 new plant friends. I love each and every one of them for their beauty, and the clean air and peace that they bring to our space. Plus, now I feel very needed. Owning plants is a very fun and rewarding hobby and community that I’m so glad to now be apart of.
