An Updated Top Ten Travel Bucket List - Five Years Later
/I’ve been feeling the itch to write lately, but honestly, I haven’t had a whole lot to write about.
Things are slow, but steady in my life. I have zero things to complain about, but I have don’t have anything super exciting to celebrate at the moment either.
But I was doing a little maintenance around my site today and I stumbled back upon and old post I titled “Top 10 Travel Bucket List,” which I had completely forgotten about. I haven’t looked at since I wrote it back in early 2019 - five years ago. Upon reviewing it, I noticed that a few of the places I’d gotten to visit since then (New Zealand and Norway)! And a few more of them that I’ve lost interest in visiting for one reason or another; so, I thought it might be fun to write out an updated list. If only just to help myself keep track of where I should book next. 😉
Here goes, an updated top 10 travel bucket list for your viewing pleasure. May it be travel inspo for you, too!
Australia
2. Chile (the Andes Mountains)
3. Western U.S.A. National Parks (Yellowstone, Arches, Zion, Sequoia, Grand Canyon)
4. South Africa
5. Germany
6. Montenegro
7. UAE
8. Denmark
9. Faroe Islands
10. Japan
Australia, UAE, Montenegro, Chile, and Germany, have all remained on my top ten from then to now, although they aren’t necessarily at the same rank in the list. The rest of these locations are new and are really peaking my travel interest now.
I think it’s great to keep lists like this one - it’s my version of a vision board and serves as a constant reminder of what I’m working so hard every day for. Looking at all the beautiful snapshots of each of these places has left me feeling so inspired and exited to hop on a plane and go!
I know someday I’ll cross each of my travel goals off the list and I’ll be bringing all of you lot along for the ride. Guess we better start planning, eh James?
