Read MoreHere we are again, friends. Time for Part 3 of mine and Ethan's adventures to my favorite place on earth. And in this post, I'll go into detail about my favorite place within my favorite place, if that makes any sense. 🙃
The middle and the end of our trip were spent on the East Coast of the country. I've always been partial to the Eastern half of Scotland for so many reasons - the accents are nicer to listen to, the cities are more ideal to visit, and the weather tends to be better, just to name a few. Not to mention that Edinburgh is my heart and soul. I can't even begin to explain how much I love that city and have since the very moment my feet stepped on its soil back in 2015.

As promised, it’s time for Part 2 of my Scotland recap! It’s a good one, who’s excited?
When I left off in Part 1, Ethan and I were on our way back to Edinburgh. As I said before, I’m saving the wonders of Edinburgh and the the East for post 3 because I have a desire to save the best (and longest) for last. You can thank me later. 😘

In case you missed it, Ethan and I went to Scotland a few weeks ago. We traveled all throughout the country and saw dozens of breath-taking sites and we did it all by car.
Read MoreWhen I was doing my Master’s in Scotland, I had the pleasure of taking on a research project for a small museum in the almost the northern-most part of the country, in a little town called Helmsdale. Ever heard of it? I didn’t think so.

Lately I’ve been feeling a little homesick for Scotland - particularly Glasgow, Scotland. I lived there for a year when I was getting my Master’s degree from Strathclyde Uni. Glasgow is such a unique city. In my opinion, about as authentic Scottish as you can get. While I’ll always have a special place in my heart from Edinburgh, the rough and realness of Glasgow will forever be a third home to me. I have so many fond memories of Glasgow and it was amazing to relive so many of them in preparing this post for you now.
Read MoreMy final stop on my photographic recount of my adventures in Italy brings me to first and last place I set foot while I was there. It might surprise many of you to know that I didn’t - as often done - save my favorite for last. The city of Florence was a total surprise to me in so many ways. I loved the sights and spending time with my BFF in the city she’d lived in for months by this time, but I can’t say that I completely fell in love with it. Ask me about my trip to Florence sometime and I’ll be happy to share my very candid opinions of it from top to bottom.

In the middle of my trip to Italy, Nicole and I were craving some warm sun and ocean air, so we hopped a train to the stunning and famous Italian Riviera.
Read MoreI am so lucky to say I’ve gotten to set foot in all the wonderful places that I have. One gorgeous location that I am always truly humbled to remember that I ventured to is the historic and beautiful country of Italy. So many people dream of visiting Italy and I have to pinch myself sometimes when I think about the fact that I got the pleasure of spending over a week there two years ago.

Yep, I took classes at 5 different universities over the course of the 5 years and one of them was in sunny, gorgeous, Seville, Spain.

Back then I was living abroad and had the finances and freedom to jet-set at a moment’s notice, I thought what better way to clear my head than a cheeky wee beach holiday? So, that’s exactly what I had in mind when I booked a week’s vacation on the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands.
