Good evening, friends. Welcome to Blogmas Day 6! Greetings to you from all the way up in Northern Michigan.

Happy Friday! It feels so good to say that. I love Friday - it is and has always been, by far, my favorite day of the week. That “Friday Feeling” is real and I’m feelin’ it right about now.

I’m going to keep this little entry short, as Ethan and I are up north for his birthday excursion. I booked us a beer tasting weekend in Charlevoix and so far, we are having a grand old time! And not only do I want to spend the majority of my time being present with Ethan celebrating and enjoying our trip, but I also plan to do an in-depth review of this entire weekend later on, so I don’t want to give too much away. But here’s a little preview -

Drinking these and stuffing our faces is basically the plan for the whole weekend. You’re jealous, I know.

The drive was long, but I’m glad to be so far away from home for a bit. I needed a vacation and that’s exactly how I’m treating this trip - like a getaway from the norm. Everyone needs a little R&R… and beer… (I’m saying that and I don’t even like beer LOL) now and again. Is it about time you planned a trip somewhere relaxing and fun? Maybe a Christmas gift to yourself or for someone special to enjoy with you. There’s no shame in getting a little enjoyment out of a gift you give someone else, you know.
