Blogmas Day 11 - Relaxing

Good evening, my friends. I hope you’re all well.

Today was an overly-busy day at work, plus we had our all-company meeting, which is always a ton of fun, but it shortened the day and forced me to work in over-drive from 9 am on. Any time our company gets together it’s always a good time and this time was no exception. Also, the pizza at The Morrie in Birmingham was pretty excellent, too.

But tonight, I’m just watching some Netflix, taking a bath, and finding some zen to treat myself and prepare for the craziness that will be tomorrow night - my company Christmas party! Woo!

My company Christmas party is by far my favorite work event of the year. There are only 4 days all year long that I consider to be MY days. They matter to me above all others and I try and enjoy them to the absolute fullest - Halloween, New Year’s Eve, my birthday, and this party! Ethan and I are so excited - and our outfits, as per usual, are going to be amazing. I’ll share a picture later in the week, I promise.

While not much is actually going on tonight, something a little special happened that I wanted to share with you all. There’s a wonderful photographer that I discovered on Instagram who takes incredible pictures of my favorite country on earth (Scotland). @folkenrose’s profile is filled with gorgeous rustic and natural images from top to bottom and she’s selling some of them as prints! Because she’s the sweetest person ever and I absolutely love her photos, I snagged one and today it came in the mail!

How gorgeous is that? I can’t wait to frame it and put it on display! I just wanted to give her a little shout out and tell all of you out there that you should head over to her profile and show her some love! Thanks for the photo, Abbi, you really are brilliant at what you do!

Anyway, that’s all from me tonight, folks. I want to get some rest before the big day tomorrow. I’m sure tomorrow I’ll be filled with all kinds of pre-party nerves to share. Until then, have a relaxing night, all.
