Blogmas Day 12 - Shinola

Hiya Blogmas Friends, it’s party time!

Tonight is our company holiday party - literally one of the best nights of my year! Our company goes all out and this year it’s being held at the incredible Shinola Hotel in downtown Detroit. I’ve never been to the hotel before, but I very much admire the watch brand, so I just knew it was going to be sophisticated AF.

Ethan and I got a room upstairs to the party because it’s easier than Ubering across town, plus, we wanted to be able to cross staying at the Shinola off our Detroit bucket list. I am so, so glad we did. Our room is amazing - hardwood everywhere. I could move in and never leave.

I don’t want to give too much away, but I’m sure many of you are wondering what dress I chose to wear at such an event… So, here’s just a cheeky wee preview - what do you think?

I’m so glad velvet is back in. I’m living my best life for these 90’s trends - keep them coming, please!

For now, I’m going to go sip some Shinola Cola in my cozy robe and get all dolled up. I’m already running late as it is! #justgirlythings
