“Detroit is Magical. It’s a Little Bit of Everything..."

I have always loved Detroit. Even throughout its rougher years, and despite the fact that I’ve always lived more than a few hours away; Motor City has always had a special place in my heart.

It’s odd, really. Not long ago when I was still trying to figure out where my life would take me, I joked and tossed the idea around more than once about me moving to Detroit, but never once did I actually see it happening.

Fast forward a few years and here I am - living and working in metro Detroit and loving every single second of it.

Detroit is lovely and so many people who have never been there - and even some who have - just don’t give it the credit it deserves. That’s where I come in. This is my love letter to Detroit, in pictures. I believe a city that is working so hard to clean itself up and make a positive name for itsself deserves to be recognized. Something about this city just sparkles like no where else - it has a truly beautiful soul.
