Blogmas Day 18 - Starbucks

Hello again, blog friends. Welcome to Blogmas Day 18!

The day after my birthday, Ethan and I spent the day being tourists in Chicago.

We had an Italian dinner and visited a German market, but if I’m honest, all I really wanted to do was visit the new Starbucks Reserve downtown.

The interior was everything I dreamed it would be. The most inspiring Starbucks location I have ever visited - after the OG Starbucks in Seattle, of course.

We ate some lunch and I got to taste my very first Nitro Cold Brew - in the form of an ice cream float! How extra is that?

Chicago is the perfect place for such a trendy Starbucks. I could have stayed there all day.

If you haven’t gotten the chance to stop by and visit the amazing new location in downtown, then absolutely do so! Aside from some teething problems with their service speed - which I expect will improve after a few more weeks in operation - it was a near-perfect way to start the day.

That’s really all there is to report from yesterday. After a few more hours in the city, we headed home for the night.

Even though it was the day after, it felt like my birthday all over again visiting the new Starbucks Reserve.
