10 Planners For Getting Your Life Together

Like many other multi-tasking, Type-A folks out there, I love a good planner. It doesn’t help that I have a burning passion for stationary alone, but when you combine stationary with my love of organization, it’s easy to see why a well-filled-out planner tops my list of life’s simple pleasures. Right now, I’m on a pretty intense self-improvement kick and I’ve been spending some serious time researching journals and planners to help me get where I want to go more effectively along the way. So, why not share some of my discoveries with you all? Hopefully, you’ll find the planner of your dreams, too.

Here are the best of the best that I’ve come across so far. Click the images to shop for these planners for yourself.

  1. Mochithings Brilliant Planner

This Mochithings planner is an updated take on a classic planner. Hardcover and well-made, this planner is simple in nature, but it’s got you covered with plenty of essential pages for notes and daily to-dos. It’s clean and elegant design is perfect for someone who wants to be able to plan with pen and paper, simply and effectively.

2. Best Self Co. Self Journal

Is there such a thing as journal goals? If so, then this is it for me. The Self Journal is a daily planner that helps you get the most out of your day and your life. It’s about goal setting, and then achieving. It’s a structured journal that is based off the processes of some of the world’s most successful people. Not having used this journal before, I still feel like this thing in the hands of the right person could be unstoppable.

3. Erin Condren Gratitude Journal

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m aiming for self-improvement this year. Adding more gratitude to your life is said to make your feel happier and more fulfilled. This journal does just that. It forces you to focus on good moments in your life and things you have to truly be thankful and grateful for. Everyone should have one of these in their back pocket, so to speak.

4. The High Performance Planner

The High Performance Planner is for those faster-moving, goal-oriented people. It helps you get the most done, efficiently. It’s all about time management and priorities. This planner is all about being intentional with your day, helping you maximize your productivity, time, and energy. The reviews on this one are great - it obviously really hits it out of the park for some people. Would it work for you?

5. The Happiness Planner

Now, I’m a big fan of this little gem in my day-to-day life. The Happiness Planner is for folks like me who might get lost in the mental shuffle once in a while and need help focusing on the things that truly make us happy and bring us joy. This journal allows folks to reflect on what makes them happy, what doesn’t, and how we can go about making changes in our every day to help us find more enjoyment in our lives. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a good way to reflect on the big things, the little things, and everything in between.

6. Lilly Pulitzer Planner

I think every twenty-something girl is probably familiar with one of these. Lilly Pulitzer is a lifestyle brand that created one of the most feminine and colorful planners known to the world. Complete with stickers and uplifting quotes in between every decorative page, if you’re looking for a gorgeous and aesthetically-pleasing way to keep track of your day, this is it.

7. Hollis Co. Start Today Journal

Rockstar Rachel Hollis created this little gem based off her actual daily journaling habits. She - like many of us out there - believe in the power of setting your day up for success early in the morning by dreaming big and setting goals to reach. If you’re looking for that push to start pursuing things that you love, then Rachel is the person to give it to you, and this journal is perfect way to get it.

8. Zen As F*ck Journal

The Zen As F*ck Journal is a tongue-and-cheek approach to mindfulness. It’s a way to approach the “uplifting BS” of everyday mindfulness with a sense of humor. If you’re looking for a way to improve your day and enjoy a little bit of “empowering profanity,” but don’t take yourself too seriously, give this bad boy a go.

9. One Line A Day Journal

This journal is for people who want to document their lives in a classic journaling fashion, over a long period of time, but without the time commitment. The One Line A Day journal allows you to track your life over the course of 5 years, one line a time. This is another one that I’d love to give a try - it’d be interesting to try and summarize an entire day in one line. #challengeaccepted

10. Bloom Daily Planner

I absolutely love this little planner. Bloom Daily Planners is a smaller company that I stumbled upon a few years back and I couldn’t be more in love with their products. They’re cost-effective, simple, and cute. This soft-cover planner is perfect for your purse - in fact, this exact planner accompanied me all throughout my Master’s program and kept my many tasks and meetings in check. I owe Bloom so much.
