Boyfriend Picks My Outfits For a Week - Part 3

Hi again friends!

I’m actually writing this one to you on location from Dayton, Ohio. Ethan and I took a day trip here this weekend - blog post all about it coming soon!

I wanted to first thank you all for the support you have shown me on both Parts 1 and 2 of this series. It has been an absolute pleasure creating these posts and hearing all the positive feedback. So, please keep the post suggestions coming - because obviously we make a great team!

In case you missed the first two sections, you can read them here and here.

This is the final installment of my Boyfriend Picks My Outfits series, so let’s jump right in and see how he did on Days 6 and 7, shall we?

Friday

Friday was a weird day, for sure. Ethan told me that he wanted to see me more dressed up, and dressed up I surely was.

He put me in my Chelsea boots again, no surprise. And my A&F off-the-shoulder sweater dress. I was shocked when I came out of the shower to see this selected for me and I knew I was in for an uncomfortable day at my desk. Does anyone seriously think tights are a good idea?

He also picked out the matching scarf and my Tag watch to complete the look.

While he was right - I was looking mighty classy, you can tell this outfit was selected by someone who has never had to suffer through wearing skin-tight clothing or panty hoes at work. I found myself constantly checking to make sure every inch of my dress was where it was supposed to be at all times, if you know what I mean.

Maybe let’s keep the dresses for special occasions, my dear.

Saturday

Saturday was Ethan’s final day choosing my outfits and I think he did really well this time!

Since Dayton, Ohio is having some pretty cold and severe weather just now, he wanted to make sure I’d be all snuggly warm on our journey. One important disclaimer: I asked him specifically for the L.L. Bean boots and he built the outfit from there because they are my absolute favorite winter weather and travel companion. I am unstoppable in those bad boys.

My Fossil watch, A&F jeans, and my University of Glasgow crew neck sweatshirt complete the look. Ethan commented on this outfit saying that his choice of watch added “a little bit of razzle-dazzle to an otherwise utilitarian outfit”. God, I love that boy. ❤️

By the time the traveling was over and we got back to the hotel, we had completely forgotten to get a picture of me in the whole outfit - so sorry, I fail. But, I wouldn’t have had much time to do that anyway seeing as I actually ripped a gaping hole in the leg of my jeans in the car on the way down here and ended up having to make an emergency Goodwill run. Oopsies!

All in all, having Ethan pick out my outfits was truly entertaining. He’s such a creative person and I can’t thank him enough for obliging me with this crazy experience. So much love to him and to you, my lovely readers. Thanks for reading! Write on!
